Amanda Degener met Jan Owen and Stuart Kestenbaum at Haystack school which is in Maine where Jan and Stuart live. Amanda served on Haystack’s board for nine years and often had the pleasure of listening to Stuart read his poetry. Handmade Belgium Flax paper has been indigo dyed four times on their edges and the poems were printed from polymer plates made from original calligraphy. Sewn together and covered with a walnut and indigo book cover which has been blind embossed with the title. Stuart writes about the little things we see the bigger things because of it.
